Dan, a partner at Rosen Hoover Sykes Brown P.A., has been working for the Firm since 1989. Dan works in the business, corporate, real estate, banking, estate planning and probate areas of the Firm’s practice, representing clients in entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, employment arrangements, real estate transactions, projects financed through low-income and historic tax credits, commercial loan closings, and negotiating and preparing contracts and leases. Dan also assists clients with their estate planning needs, including analysis of tax implications and the drafting of wills, and, where appropriate, trusts. Finally, when a client loses a loved one, Dan assists the client through the process of estate administration and probate.

Dan, a native of Baltimore, is a 1977 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland (B.A. Quantitative Studies). After college, Dan taught middle-school mathematics for four (4) years and in 1982 became a CPA. He is also a 1985 graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park (M.B.A.), and a 1986 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law (J.D., Order of the Coif). After graduating from law school, Dan clerked for the Honorable Francis J. Murnaghan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Dan is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
